Question: If you were the Athletic Director of one of the, if not the most successful college football programs in the country and needed a head coach, would Jack Del Rio really be at the top of your list?
Answer: No. USC can hire just about anyone they want. Even with possible NCAA sanctions, head coach of USC is about as close to the top of college football. As much as I would like to see who the Jaguars would use to fill the void should Del Rio go west, I think this is a false hope.
Seriously, there are only a handful of college coaches who would turn down USC (Meyer, Saban, etc). They can have whoever they want. Is the best available option really Jack Del Rio?
