He had
a bad year when the Jags had him for a 1 year; after the 10 sack season. Seeing him play right now; and how our DEs playing-I miss him….

And a side note
Everyone saw how the Saints defense looked last night on T.V. Swarming the ball, getting pressure, and taking advantage of opportunities. Thats what our defense was supposed to look like last year. Gregg Williams is a great coordinator when he has personnel.
Defense needs an overhaul.

Never said said their D was "great"
But yeah, the same D that was third in interceptions and fifth in fumble recoveries.

What game was everyone watching?
I saw a defense that couldn’t stop anyone, that let the Vikes generate 200+ yards MORE than the vaunted Saints O, and I saw a Bobby McCray that was more thug than football player, always late to the party but hitting someone anyway. They were obviously opportunistic and focused on stripping the ball, but they will get dismantled by Peyton. McCray will never touch him … unless it’s after the whistle.
Bobby McCray's postseason
Step 1: Drill Kurt Warner on a blindside block
Step 2: Take out Brett Favre’s legs late
Step 3: Go after Peyton Manning

Didn't Say
Their defense played flawless, but they looked how we were supposed to last year under Gregg Williams. There was talk of us having a ball hawking secondary; the Saints picked off two balls, and there was talk of us forcing turnovers because of swarming to the ball with the 46 defense. The Saints forced what, 4 fumbles? I’ll give the opponent a 65 yard drive all day long if I know I have a good chance of forcing a turnover somewhere at the end and getting the ball back with no points going to my opponent.
Nothing wrong with having an intimidator or two playing defense. The hits McCray put on Favre were all legal. Being physical on defense takes a toll mentally and physically on the other team. Notice how much they started fumbling. I wish we could get a few guys like that down here. Football is a physical sport.
I have the Saints winning the Superbowl. I hate the Colts with a passion, but I also think the Saints have some of the tools on defense to beat the Colts.
