No because the Cowboys played Oakland this year

Detroit and Dallas alternate between AFC and NFC opponents because of the contracts with CBS and NBC

I was 75% sure when I wrote my article back in October, and now the national media is saying the same thing

But the chances are still under 25% right now…

CBS and FOX*

Though call me crazy, but I think the Jags-Colts game could be the NFLN Thanksgiving game.

I'm Glad

That has become a staple type game. Always competitive too. We need to win it at home next year though.

Rich Eisen and co like MJD and JVille

And Jags-Colts are some kind of Pats-Colts for them

Tough Season Jags.

Hope all the AFC south teams beat the cowgurls next year. Next year Jags and Texans surpass the Tits and Foreheads as the leaders in the AFC South.

Is very quiet.

I am disgusted that the Jets get in after two teams lay down for them, while the Texans beat Brady and stay home.

Rooting for the Jets now?

Maybe so they’ll go and beat the teams that layed down?

Or do you want them to get their due?

by Adam Stites on Jan 4, 2010 12:25 AM EST up reply actions

I am rooting

for the Jets now. The Bengals deserve to get crushed next week.

And I’M telling you; the Jets can surprise the Colts if Manning freeze down again…

i dont know

have you seen their passing yardage numbers after they benched russel

ill look it up but frye threw (yes the frye that was traded from cleveland to seattle, then cut and picked up by the raiders) for 33 yards last week

Gradkowski looked not so bad

Frye

Looked great in the first half this week. For some reason Russell played the second half, played good all throughout the third quarter, and then threw a game clinching pick in the fourth.

probably just for more tape

if we have an uncapped year, i think they can let him go and not be out as much financially

by Surteal on Jan 4, 2010 1:23 AM EST up reply actions

I Might

Be shot for saying this, and I accept that. But if they release Russell, like they have said they will, maybe the Jaguars should pick him up for the minimum, let him sit on the bench and mature for two years, and go from there. If he is still a bust, then cut him. No real risk involved.

Is the firing squad assembling?

I'm not sure I like that - but I'm still a tarvaris jackson fan

but I guess it will never be… it’s just so much easier to address all the other positions on the team. IMHO they only way anything big happens is if we can trade Garrard for picks; then it’s all up in the air.

by alsonot on Jan 4, 2010 1:53 AM EST up reply actions

Yeah

I’d be cool with T. Jack. Guy needs a few more years of development, but he has shown flashes of greatness, but is also a great athlete.

so its forgiveable to me that we finished 7-9 when we could of finished 9-7.

WOOOOOHOOOOOO

Already planning on going to the Dallas game. Not to far away and I want to see the monstrosity that they call a stadium. We are planning on being in Jacksonville for Christmas so with a little luck may go to two Jags games this year.
