We don't have any key players out, a lot of key players are probable with full participation, so thats good, we need Derek Cox to play, and he was limited.
Tennesse on the other hand has one of their wideouts out, possibly another 1, their starting center is questionable. Tony Brown there starting DT, zero tech I beleive, did not participate in practice. And their key injury is Chris Johnson, I', 95% sure he will play(if he doesn't, we have a 100% chance of winning), he has been having some soreness in his thigh though.
By the Way, hopefully JDR makes the right desicion and puts Mathis on Britt. Mathis can take him out of the game, and then we can shift safety over by Cox to help with Washington, and they will have a lot of trouble passing the ball.
If Jacksonville hold C.J. under 100 yards Jags win. 27-20.

No...
he isn’t, he’s better than he is given credit for. He might be lacking in speed, but he is a solid player. I don’t remember him missing a tackle that he should’ve made.
"solid" player?
because he makes tackles? He should make tackles. I’m not impressed with guys doing what they are supposed to do. What would impress me is if he actually got to a play and broke it up, which I can’t recall seeing him do in a non scrimmage.
He’s really not good.
That's what "solid" means.
If he made more plays than he’s supposed to, then he’d be “good” or “great”, not “solid”.
You...
might be missing the big picture on grading the effectiveness of a player. He doesn’t blow many assignments and, as I said, he doesn’t miss many tackles. As a safety, that is exactly what he is supposed do. To my recollection, he was the best S through the preseason, which lead to Reggie Nelson getting traded and Gerald Alexander getting cut. If that doesn’t count as ‘solid’, I don’t know what does. And I also doubt Gene would allow a player to stay on the roster that sucked. If he sucks, what was Reggie Nelson?
How bout "roster poison"
Not that he was a bad guy, but the poor guy just could not get out of the college mindset of playing in the NFL.
And...
if you’re not impressed with guys doing what they are supposed to do, you must not enjoy the sport much. This is a league of missed tackles and blown assignments, as almost every big play is a result of one.

Its true...
it is not enjoyable to see such mediocre play in a sport where guys get millions.
Guys like Considine are a dime a dozen. Sorry if you are a big fan, but I am not. I feel like you could find 200 players who do what he does in college right now. You don’t have to look any further than the results of our games since he’s been out…2 wins. While he may not be solely responsible for the losses, we can clearly see that the level of play is at least as good – and most likely better – than when he was playing.
I wish we had
one of those 200 guys in college after tonights game.
He had a good preseason

Josh Scobee: #1 Kicker in the NFL
Derek Cox
actually matches up well with Kenny Britt, so there is no need to move around the CB’s. Besides, we can’t forget about Washington.
And Tony Brown may be very good, but he’s not the key to them winning or losing for sure.
It would be.
Much easier to run through the middle.

no it won't
you’ll run into Jason Jones’ living room, or Tony Brown would stone wall your rb right there even while getting blocked

because otheteams usually
run to the outside, and our outside linebacker former Outside LB Winborn was bad he was slow and tackling was not his strong suit, and our secondary always followed WRs when we were in man and so when a back goes off to the side he has good running room, untill ran out of bounds by anyone else.
i’m glad he isn’t starting now though hopefully we can contain some of your RBs runs to the outside
