I admit I am not a huge Jack DelRio fan, but I also don't agree with firing coaches as a knee jerk reaction to a few bad losses. I believe you need continuity at the coaching level to be a good team. That said, I think that Jack DelRio has made some mistakes on the field with his coaching technique and strategy, and is really losing the support of the fans. Now I don't know what Mr. Weaver is thinking as it concerns Jack DelRio's future, maybe Mr. Weaver loves Jack as our head coach. However, Mr. Weaver has the huge burden of trying to lift this organization back to respectability in the national eyes. We have to look good on and off the field, and conduct ourselves as professionals while doing so.
That said, Jack DelRio may be forcing his way out the door with behavior that is now being investigated by the NFL:

As an organization, we simply cannot afford to look bad in the national media. Mr. Weaver may have no choice but to fire Jack DelRio in the best interests of the team.
Not that that would be such a terrible thing.
