According to Tania Ganguli of The Florida Times-Union, the Jacksonville Jaguars have released quarterback Patrick Ramsey. To fill his roster position, the Jaguars promoted linebacker Jacob Cutrera from the practice squad to the active roster. This leaves one spot on the practice squad open.
It should be no surprise the Jaguars released Ramsey. Head coach Jack Del Rio announced earlier in the week they would trim one of the quarterbacks from their roster.
