Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones fired Wade Phillips today. Jason Garrett, the offensive coordinator will take over head coaching duties for now. A lot of Jacksonville Jaguars fans have been calling for Jack Del Rio to be fired mid-season. Obviously, coming off beating down the Dallas Cowboys very few are still calling for that.

Jaguars fans should pay attention to how the Cowboys react and if they change at all with a change of scenery. I'm a big believer in that firing a head coach mid-season accomplishes nothing, so we should see what happens.
