First seen as an errant tweet that I've been unable to relocate (I assume it was deleted), the Jacksonville Jaguars will sign former New England Patriots defensive back Terrence Wheatley. I was able to confirm he will be signed. Wheatley was recently released by the Patriots when guard Logan Mankins was brought back.

Wheatley played college football at Colorado and was a second round pick in the 2008 draft. It's no surprise the Jaguars had interest, as they had interest in him prior to the draft.
