The Jacksonville Jaguars will begin the Trent Edwards try out show on Sunday when they travel to face the Houston Texans. David Garrard was placed on injured reserve later in the week after having surgery on a torn ligament in his finer on his throwing hand. The Jaguars will also be without running back Maurice Jones-Drew for the second week in a row. Jones-Drew is dealing with a knee injury he's dealt with all season and it's finally come to head. Linebacker Justin Durant will also be out with a groin injury, and tight end Zach Miller will be out with a concussion he suffered last week against the Washington Redskins. Trent Edwards will have his full array of wide receivers however, as Mike Sims-Walker is expected to be back after being limited last week with an ankle injury.
