2011 Jaguars coach wish list.

I think it's safe to assume JDR will not be back as head coach next year.

Here's my personal wish list in no particular order.

Bill Cowher - Proven winner. Has a ring. There are no unknowns w/Cowher. We know we'll get a quality product on the field.

Jon Gruden - Genius. Got Tampa over the hump in 02. He'd definitely bring a new level of intensity to the organization.

Rob Ryan - Has a pedigree. Stopped New England's offense this year (CLE 34- NE-14). Could we play a 3-4 w/Knighton @ nose and Alualu an D'Anthony Smith as the ends? He doesn't have the same bluster as brother Rex but he doesn't need it in Jax.

Leslie Frasier - His units are always fundamentally sound. His players seem to like playing for him.

Perry Fewell - Has roots in Jax as he was our secondary coach under Coughlin. He had Buffalo looking pretty good (for Buffalo) last year when he took over for Dick Jauron. The Giants D isn't looking too bad this season either.

Ron Rivera - How has he not gotten a head coaching job yet? His defenses in Chicago and San Diego have consitently been near the top of the league.

Russ Grimm - Same as Rivera, how has he not gotten a head coaching job yet? He's a HOF offensive lineman. He can definitely help our offensive line. I believe he was a candidate for Pittsburgh and Arizona but they hired Tomlin instead and Whisenhunt intead. Not bad coaches to lose out to.

I always think it's fun hypothesizing think it's fun. Anyone else have any thoughts/opinions?
