Not to hijack PKSIVs thread.. but I needed a place to put the stats and you know how I love my spread sheets.
I will admit I personally think Garrard is in the top 15 of the league when the whole team is in "The Zone".. and look forward to seeing the Jags play some of thier best football in the upcoming weeks. I am really kind of tired of hearing Jaguar Fans get down on Garrard when the TEAM isn't in "The Zone" and things get ugly.
Because looking at the Stats.. I think I prove my point.
Taking into account QBs with at least 10 sacks..

Only 14 Qbs have less time to throw.. before they are sacked. Interestingly enough.. Peyton is #1 on that list. Which is very possibly why the Colts aren't the Colts of last year.
COmpared to the number of sacks total:

Garrard is right at average for number of times he has been sacked.. Interestingly enough Peyton has the fewest of his group, even though he has less time to work with.
So anyway.. I think STATISTICALLY this proves Garrards O-line isn't doing a bad job, but not a great one. He gets it out as fast as he can... Only 6 QBs are faster getting out of the pocket. With Drew Brees and Peyton Manning #1 and #2. That's not bad company to be in.
So to all the Garrard haters.. did you also not know even with the debacles in San Diego and Philly, Garrard currently has the best QB rating in the 4th Qtr.
