While listening to all the different commentators.. I noticed a few things that make me wonder..

Why are the Panthers the Panthers, the Texans the Texans, but for some unexplainable reason we are the "Jacksonville Jaguars"... it obviously isn't because we are an expansion team. Now mind you I don't mind it.. just seems odd.

Is this media love in that by calling us not simply the Jaguars, but the "Jacksonville Jaguars" because:

Its like the Packers, they also are always usually called by thier full name "Green Bay Packers".. which would be good company to keep..

OR

They just like saying "Jacksonville" because it sounds cooler than way..

OR

The have to say it because its a way for the media to keep from tripping up and calling us the L.A. Jaguars, which is what we know half the NFL owners would love to happen..

In either case its kind of wierd..

All kidding aside, why are there so many Jaguar haters in the Media.

Half the NFL Network staff is in love with Indy..  

Warren Sapp for example feels the Raiders are better than the Jags and we won't win the AFC South due to that and us losing at Indy.. With Indy winning out.. and we have "no chance" of winning the AFC South crown.. HIS WORDS.

OH well.. Hopefully in two weeks the crown will be ours and anyway I prefer when we are the underdog and no one gives us any love... we seem to play better that way
