JaguarsInsider Report on Greg Jones
JaguarsInsider sent out this tweet: "Spoke with Greg Jones this morning in the training room. He is excited about being able to fully walk without any help this week. Greg has had one of those scooters to get around. He is doing some weight room workouts (like he needs it) and is ready to pick up pace." A certified fan favorite, BCC wishes you continued success in your recovery. A great example of perseverance in the face of adversity.

I’d like to see him back at full strength. I just hope he stays healthy from now on or there may be some “fragile” tags attached. Just sayin….

I wouldn't say his last
injury counts as a check in the fragile department. It was just an unfortunate incident. Could have happened to anyone.
Hope he comes back full speed next season. I don’t know that any FB in the league is more revered by his respective fanbase than Greg Jones, and for good reason.
What
Would Greg Jones garner in a trade?

Ha
Yeah, what I’m saying is what is his trade value. I wrote that after four hours of homework last night, garner sounded like it worked; but I think I made up a word.

You used garner correctly
Garner
1 a : to gather into storage b : to deposit as if in a granary <volumes in which he has garnered the fruits of his lifetime labors — Reinhold Niebuhr>
2 a : to acquire by effort : earn b : accumulate, collect
I was making a joke, a play on words…sorta. Garnet and Gold, as in Jones’ alma mater. I used garner…well you get the idea. Nevermind, you know a joke is a failure when you have to explain it.
Vae Victis!
Ha
Nah, I got the joke. I thought I had used it wrong. Guess I didn’t

If I had to guess
you could get a 4th rounder at best. May be a great FB, but it’s a dying position, cheap position, and he’s not young. And he hasn’t shown a whole lot of ability with the ball in recent years(I mostly doubt his hands), and he’s had a few injuries. Not to mention he carries a pretty hefty price tag, for a FB.
Everyone thinks they can find a serviceable FB in the 6th and 7th rounds, which probably hurts Greg’s trade value the most.
