La-la land will not get Jacksonville's team...at least not anytime soon. We're finally selling some seats...we have to buy 'em up or this ghost will always come back to haunt us. The Jaguars are Jacksonville's team, let's act like it.

I've changed the link, now it will circumvent PFT and take you directly to the article at the Las Angeles Times.

Good article. Learned some new information on Roski also.

The cool thing about these tickets

is that I know a large portion of em are from the 30 30 plan, which means they can be counted on to renew for at least the next 3 years.

True

Hopefully we’ll be fully entrenched within 5 years. So la-la will have to focus their sights elsewhere.

L.A. doesn't want the Jags

At least some don’t. Here’s what they had to say:

The more important question at this point in this saga is WHO CARES? I was born and raised in Los Angeles, grew up a die hard Rams fan and at this point I couldn’t care less. Enough of this tired old “NFL to L.A.” headline. When does college football kick off?

I agree whole-heartedly with e8n2. I hope to dear God the Raiders do not come back. I would want a total and refreshing, new expansion team, (or if the Rams were to return which seem rather unlikely.)

Farmer makes it sound a lot more difficult than it really is. NFL owners make Cal Worthington looks like Sir John Geilgud. All Roski has to do is rent a bulldozer, and some moneyed hick is going to relocate his team to LA. The first game will sell out, then the stadium will be half-filled while the squad of one-year mercenaries loses half its games. Go team go, rah rah rah. PPffftttt…….

Since the Rams departure I no longer follow pro football (never cared about the Raiders who should never have been here in the first place). The only existing team that I would want to see coming to L.A. would be the Rams, otherwise I would only want an expansion team, not some other city’s rejects. Since this guy is only interested in an existing team, forget it! I don’t want them.
