With the 25th pick of the 2010 NFL Draft, the Baltimore Ravens select Trent Williams, Offensive Tackle from Oklahoma.
This is a pure BAP pick, OT isn´t a need for the Ravens but Ozzie Newsome prefers value over need. Trent Williams is a top 15 pick in most mocks and at this spot will be hard to pass on him, with this selection, the Ravens could let Gaither go the next season and have a nasty pair of tackles in Oher and Williams, he´s a dominant run blocker and is versatile enough to play both tackle positions or even guard, with a lot of upside and the ability to handle edge rushers. Other players considered at this pick were McCourty, Kindle and Golden Tate but Trent Williams is more talented.

Michael Oher is doing well, but additing a top tackle is a great choice

I know what BAP means
but this is one of those situations I think that anything other than OT is ok. If he was truly the highest rated player left, I think would either go away from BAP or trade down. The reason I say this is, Trent isn’t as good as either OT in Oher and especially in Gaither.
