Ha!
I knew he was an option at 10. I hope we do draft him, assuming someone better doesn’t fall like Okung or Suh etc.
Well
Check out Paul Kuharsky’s video ; he has a very interesting take (among others) from privat workouts. AKA Welcome to the “lieing season”

Maybe the Browns
Take Thomas, preferring his instincts and ability to handle any deep coverage by himself, and Berry falls to us. I’d be cool with either safety though, I like Thomas as well.

Something for the mock drafters
I see his name alongside with Dez Bryant linked to us… I think he will be a MAJOR REACH in 10. IF we can trade back he MIGHT come (After Iupati; Price among others…)

That's what I was thinking
It’s really the only thing that makes sense, as I agree with Zoltan that he is not worth 10 overall.

You don't pick a safety in the top 10
Unless he is Polamalu; Reed caliber guy….Is Thomas a guy like that caliber-I don’T think so….

Nah man
Berry may have the measurables, but Thomas knows the pass pattern before the quarterback does. His instincts buy him a spot at least inside the top 15, and is a fringe prospect inside the ten. I’d be cool with him AT ten.

Why can't Earl Thomas
be an Ed Reed? As far as I can tell they are almost identical in description. I think the fact that Ed Reed type players come around so rarely, that when comes around, you have to draft him. Yeah an average safety can be gotten in the 7th round, but elite ones don’t appear in every draft.
It's possible...
…that the Jaguars will try to trade back for him. I don’t see two safeties in the top ten of this draft, especially with the talent at defensive line. I see Earl Thomas going somewhere in the 11-20 range as opposed to the 1-10 range.
