Jags Draft Needs(and my explanation)

Jaguars Needs(in order)

ILB/FS(depends on BPA at either pos.), DE, OC, OG, WR

We need a promising Inside LB, and a new FS. REGGIE NELSON YOU SUCK!!!

We need a new DE(or 2)Harvey and Groves are fails, so far, can maybe still becomegood players. Hayward lost his MOJO, and Kampman is more of a temporary patch(don’t get me wrong hes good, but he doesn’t have many years left( 2-6), at risk of another injury, HES GETTING OLD)

Brad Meester is getting old, need to start looking for a player, that can fill his position(hes the Jags’line’s foundation), a rookie that can be developed into a Brad Meester(prototype)

We need a new right Guard, Manuwai can be LG, he still got some fuel left in his tank, but no one any good at note for right gaurd

Our last year’s WR Core looked promising,, and maybe can develop into a dominat WR Core, but we will have to see, we don’t need another WRs this year, We have many wide receiverson our chart(Wilford also a WR if needed)

WR Chart(my opinion)
Sims-Walker
Osgood(if proven capable)
Thomas
Williamson
Dillard
Wilford
Hughes

Osgood(#2 if proves, i think he will)if he sucks williamson goes to 2 osgood goes to 4. If really bad Dillard goes to 4 and Wilford goes to 5 and Hughes to 6 Osgood to 7

Osgood has the time to develop, if he wants a WR spot he better be working his ass off training, when training camp and theOTAs start rolling around

I stick with my assertion like two weeks ago, that Wilford will play WR in short-yardage situations, Osgood will be WR always but will be featured in PA pass situations, where he can split aginst a safety or LB and outrun them. (Think Dillard last year against the Vikes, he played slot in the 1st half before Williamson went down, then he was pushed to fourth WR, Thomas as slot with Holt and MSW 1 and 2. DIllard mismatched against I believe it was a dime or LB, dropped the pass, but thats the sort of set-up I think for Osgood.) However it goes to say, if he plays for money (hopefully not, then you get a potentially DIVA recever by accident) he will be second reciever over Williamson, b/c he’s four inches taller and a slight bit faster.

He's definitely

not faster than Williamson. Williamson may be the fastest receiver in the league.
And we never even played the Vikings last year.
And who’s play for money? Surely not Osgood. He came here for a chance at playing WR. He isn’t even getting paid very much, which is probably the trade off he made for a chance at WR.

Word

Williamson has rare speed.

If hip hop is dead, then it happened the day that Dilla died.

I need to get my facts 100% guys, I was trying to say Osgood could end up in the slot in short-yardage, when Williamson is outside. The game which I was talking about I confuzlled with the game in which Williamson was injured LAST season (2008). The comment about money, I was talking that incentive-laden contracts can lead to skilll posisiton players playing up for the money then resting on their laurels once they get it. I aplogize, I am not very good at voicing my opinion in quickly-written comments. Yes, Williamson has crazy speed down the field, and is rare, because he can translate his speed into the game itself, not just Practice-speed. Think on a run by MJD against the Texans or Titans in 2008, Williamson kept up with him and almost outran the block he was trying to lay. However, I do believe Mike Thomas may be as fast but just can’t translate his speed well, and the problem is he was Lightning on the Jet Sweep and End Around but did not have good short-range field vision. Against the Texans at HOU, he had a chance to be sprung with one block, but he ran into the blocker on the outside (I believe it was either Holt or MSW).
