Jimmy Clausen
Great article on why Jimmy Clausen should be the number one quarterback in the draft, and a top ten selection. This guy covers all bases.

Very Informative
The article makes good points on the so-called “character concerns”. Thanks for sharing.
I think Claussen's biggest weakness
is his lack of ability to read defenses. Nearly all of his reads were one on one reads, or very easy reads with very open receivers.
I’m surprised more people haven’t mentioned this more. I think part of it has to do with the low int numbers. I also think it has a little to do with him being white(I hate to involve race), and having Weis as his coach, and being in a pro style offense. To me, he doesn’t look any more developed than Flacco did, coming out of a FCS division. They both throw the same types of passes.(Flacco throws them better however)
You can't just say because he's white
and then not explain anything. What’s deceiving about being white?
Ask Rush Limbaugh
He has some notable quotes on the race of a qb.

I just mean he automatically gets associated with other white players. Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, etc
Just like Toby Gerhart automatically got associated with Mike Alstott. I think he’s much more athletic than Mike. And he was obviously faster than many assumed.
I’m not saying any particular person thinks that way. And I sure as hell don’t. But I think some people do.
Once they become associated they automatically carry their “predecessor’s” attributes. It’s no different than associating him with Brady Quinn because they went to the same school. I’m not calling it racism. It’s just the brain’s tendency to try to find a pattern that isn’t really there. Part of why so many allusions work so well. When to a computer, what it sees is what’s really there.
I see what you're saying
I remember someone saying Tony Pike reminds them of a young Peyton Manning. The only similarities are they are both tall, both were skinny coming out, and both are white pocket passers. Other than that, they have little in common.
The Toby Gerhart is another good example. Mike Alstott instead of Jerome Bettis, when Gerhart is more similar to Bettis.

I'm
Not labeling Clausen as a potential first year starter, and I don’t think the guy writing the article is either. I would rather have Clausen over Bradford all day though. Clausen does everything better than Bradford. Clausen may not read defenses great yet, but Bradford has coaches do that for him.

Yeah, I know
still doesn’t matter. A low interception number is more a factor of decision making, rather than accuracy. That goes the same for comp percentage.
I Don't
See the great accuracy from Bradford. He has good accuracy, but IMO thats about the only thing he does with first round ability. Bradford has a great completion percentage with his high percentage drags and bubble screens out of his coloring book offense.
