Kampman Signs With JAGS!!!!

Per Michael Wrights Twitter, Aaron Kampman has signed with Jacksonville.  His deal is similar to KVB's with the Lions.  If healthy, we now have a good DE and can draft BAP.  I know alot of you will think this was too high of a price to pay but realize we are now in a new NFL.  Not saying its better, but its the world we live in.  As I stated earlier, we can now draft BAP.  Also I have read that we are interested in OJ Atogwe from the Rams.  Have faith, we are on the right path.  In Gene We Trust.

looks like Kampman and Meester played for the same high school in Iowa… may have played together since they are only 2 years apart in age… with Brad being the older of the two… not an interesting fact, but something to throw out there at 1am

Oh yeah!

We’re definitely going to draft the best player available. I can’t wait.

woohoo

2 good solid signings. Both of these guys are going to make some plays and that’s exactly what we need.

I always look

foward to Sept, but now I feel like we are going to be good, especially now that we’ll have Kampman chasing peyton too

Now if we say got

CJ Spiller and Tebow. All of Jax (the Die-Hards and the Tebowists) would rejoice.

I think Spiller would be nice in the 1st, but I think Gene is building an out-of-left-field pick for the 1st round this year, not WR nor DE nor DT nor RB nor QB, so its kind of certain either a DB or LB
I would say Spikes, Haden, McClain or maybe Eric Berry

No to Spikes and Haden

Maybe McClain or Spiller. Berry will be long gone.

mcclain. yes.

I said McClain b/c he’s a ‘prevaling logic’ pick…Spikes b/c I do think he is quite the LB…Haden b/c he’s a cover corner and would be better then the current 2nd-tier DBs on the team, and could develop into something good given the time. I do think however they should get Major Wright out of UF in the 4th, and maybe Brandon James in the 6th for the return game

Berry would be nice

It is a possibility he drops to us. We forget that Monroe dropped to us last year, and Berry plays the “non-premium” position so it’s a crapshoot when he gets drafted. I really like C.J. Spiller, he can be for us what Drew was for Freddy, and he can return kicks. We need a guy teams are scared to kick to.

MJD

was obviously worth a top ten pick, but I’d still rather find him in the second round, similar to Ray Rice. I like to get my full time players in the top ten. It’s not on par with getting a punter, but it’s the same idea. IMO
Give me a play making FS over a part time RB any day of the week, and twice on Sunday. On that note, I’d also like to have Earl Thomas too.

Probably a better shot for Earl Thomas then Eric Berry, and if they trade down they can get a non-NFL.com featured Safety in the 1st, but they defintely will get S at some time in the draft….and maybe they go for Javier Arenas?
