Talk About Great Moments

I saw the other day that Richard Collier was fitted with a prosthesis and is beginning to learn how to walk again. I don't know about you, but it will be worth the price of a season ticket to be there when he walks out on the field for the first time. The hair on my neck stands up just thinking about it. The courage and strength of Collier is amazing and inspiring! Go R.C.!!

There's only a handful of guys I admire in my life

Collier is one of them. And he definitely earned the Ed Block Courage Award for what he’s gone through, and for what he’s done to help other people who’ve gone through the same thing as he did.

One more thing...

It pisses me off that a coward dog killer like Michael Vick gets the same award. In no way has the guy shown anything close to courage in his sad, pathetic life. The Eagles made a mockery of the award by voting for the guy.

I didn’t know the Eagles gave one to Vick. Yikes. Trying to figure out why… Maybe he had courage not to bend over and get the soap in prison? Beats me.
