NFL Draft Open-Thread pt. 3
As the clock continues to turn, a trade into the second looks less likely. Is there any way Gene would take just a 3rd rounder for "Big Hen"? I think we'll only be making one pick today, folks. Gene has shown a propensity for shocking moves though. I don't even know why we bother trying to mock the Jaguars, as they are probably the least predictable team in the NFL...
Gene trusts his eyes... Give him credit.

31 isn't that old for someone without a history of injuries.
He’s worth more this season than last offseason. He had a terrible/avg year 2 seasons ago, but a stellar year last season.

Not saying he’s old, just on the decline of his career. He’s not one of those old fatass NT’s that can sit in the middle forever. He’s up and down. Donovan Mcnabb was gone for a 2nd I believe.

Maybe we could trade him to Dallas
And receive one of those linebackers they’re shopping. Throw in late round picks to make it work.

Ben continues to be a polarizing character
Either you believe he’s a stud or you think he just got lucky with the team. I think dude is an ace. I’ll never forget when he single handedly beat the jags 2 years ago. He simply does not go down. Well, not down on the ground anyway

All of these DT's going
is like a double edge sword. It’s nice because we are already have enough DT’s, and this means every time a DT is selected another position gets to fall further. To us in the third.
Is there anyway we trade up to the Pats pick for Big Hen

Everyone considers him a 3-4 OLB, but he started as a LB, and talent wise i think he’s got tonnes of upside. Not really a Gene pick though….
