From what I see, the Colts advanced in this draft, the Texans got a little bit, the Titans did a free-fall.
The Jaguars, without a doubt, moved up on the competition if these guys live up to their potential. I think Gene did well.

The tits clearly reached to grab their DE...
The Colt’s must be dealing with an invasion of the body snatchers, because it looks like Polian is adding mediocre talent at best.
The Texans new RB, Tate, sure doesn’t scare me either… He reminds me of Rashad Jennings, who we got at the bottom of the draft.

Morgan wasn't a reach
at 16. Damian is not a bad pick in the third, but they could have probably got him in the 4th considering how the draft was going. The really missed out on the DT’s from this class.
I guess no one can doubt that we have the best DT’s in the division, that’s something. I don’t know enough about Curran.
The Colts avoided drafting OL for mediocre talent. I wouldn’t be mad, as they should be at least a little productive.
Houston has a pretty weak draft. Not bad, just weak. Tate will be productive, maybe even really productive but not special. Jackson is solid, but he wont be shut down or eve a great playmaker. Solid starter though. Mitchell will struggle.
This is just my opinion - Which means I might be wrong
but Morgan has bust potential. JMO. Damian Williams has bust potential as well. Titans did not draft safe and strong.
The Colts addressed linebacker in a very nice fashion. They need OL but you are right, couldn’t go there.
Texans have a little bit to show, but nothing of any scary power.
Of course, the Jags selections need to show up but could scare people.

The Jags in my opinion
made the smart safe selections here. These guys will only improve the team. We definitely improved more than the rest of the AFC South.
I just can't
believe we didn’t take JD Walton with that third round pick but I couldn’t believe that we didn’t take earl thomas either so yeah
I was looking for someone to draft at 10
no matter who I came up with I felt they weren’t worth top ten picks, except for the guys that went in the top 5: Suh, McCoy, Berry, Okung.
I didn’t think that Morgan, JPP, Spiller, McClain, Haden, Clausen, and Bryant were worth a 10 pick. I would have drafted a number of them, if I couldn’t have traded down, but only because I thought they were the best available. I think we’re lucky that Gene noticed someone that was worth the pick. He gave us a way out of having to take a mid rounder at 10.
Don't agree
Apart from their first round pick, I don’t like what the Colts did at all.
The greatest accomplishment is not in never falling, but in rising again after you fall.

comment from a an oakland fan who believes that getting rid of this player is best for oakland…copied and pasted
Why the hell are you guys acting so sad Morrison is getting shipped somewhere? He wasn’t as good as his production and people will see that once finds himself somewhere else. He gets trucked at the point of attack, can’t shed blocks, and has never been good against the run.
When you’re the leading tackler on a bad team, that doesn’t make you good. It just makes you the most productive by default.
bottom line ..they found a team to take him off their hands to get compensation insteading of cutting him
