2010 Big Cat Country Draft Game: Results
Thanks to those who participated in the contest this year. I hope to have similar contests in the future with similar prizes, so keep your eye out for chances to win free stuff here on BCC. So on to the results:
In third place with 23 points was Zoltan from Budapest:
Zoltan correctly predicted that the Jaguars would draft his favorite prospect, Austen Lane, earning him 12 points. He also predicted that the Jaguars would sign Norfolk State S Terrell Whitehead in undrafted free agency giving him an additional 6 points. Also in his UDFA predictions was Scotty McGee which earned him an additional 4 points. Correctly predicting that the Jaguars would make 2 trades on draft day earned him 1 more point bringing him to his total of 23.
In second place with 25 points was duvaljag
duval correctly predicted the drafting of both Austen Lane and Deji Karim, earning him 12 points each. duval also predicted that the Jaguars would make 2 trades during the draft earning him 1 additional point bringing him to a total of 25 points.
And in first place with 32 points is....
Our own BCC editor, Collin, takes the grand prize in the first annual draft game. Collin correctly predicted the drafting of D'Anthony Smith and Deji Karim. He earned 4 bonus points for correctly predicting the round that Karim would be drafted. He earned 3 points for his accurate guess that the 1st round would take 3 hours and 22 minutes to finish, only 6 minutes off of the 3 hours and 28 minutes it actually took. To top it off Collin earned 1 more point for also guessing that the Jaguars would make 2 trades on draft day.
All of that brought him to his winning total of 32 points. Congratulations.

Sorry no consolations in this one
I definitely want to do more contests in the future though, not just draft ones. So maybe I’ll have consolations in the future ones.
