Report: Jacksonville Jaguars will release John Henderson

Stay connected for news and updates

According to sources, the Jacksonville Jaguars will release defensive tackle John Henderson.

Not really surprising news, but the Jacksonville Jaguars will release defensive tackle John Henderson.  The team tried to trade him during the entire draft process to no avail.  After drafting three defensive tackles in the last two drafts, the writing was on the wall.

The 31-year-old Henderson was drafted by the Jaguars in 2002 and has been a starter on their defensive line ever since. Jiohn Henderson only missed 4 games during his career in Jacksonville.

More on John Henderson later.

UPDATE: I see Adam Schefter beat me.

Dangit Schefter!
