2010 Jaguars roster offensive players

I know this is early but this is the dead zone and here are some ideas to kick about. Our offensive will have 25 players and our defense will have 24 for 49. We will carry 4 special team players. This is how I break it down. 9 offensive linemen. Guards Kynan Forney, Uche Nwaneri Vince Manuwai, Justin Smiley Tackles Eben Britton, Eugene Monroe, Jordan Black, Paul McQuistan Center Brad Meester Cecil Newton. The reason I put 10 is Meester training camp will tell if he has it or not. Tight ends 4 Marcedes Lewis, Zach Miller, Ernest Wilford, Zach Potter 5 wide receivers Mike Sims-Walker, Mike Thomas, Jarett Dillard, Kassim Osgood, Tiquan Underwood, 2 Quarter backs David Garrard, Luke McCown 5 running backs/ full backs Deji Karim, Maurice Jones-Drew, Rashad Jennings, Greg Jones, Montell Owens, Brock Bolen, the reason I put 6 running backs is Greg Jones need to see if he is fully recovered from his knee injury of last year 4 special team players PK Josh Scobee, Punter Adam Podlesh, LS Jeremy Cain, KR/PR Scotty McGee,

How about

Troy Williamson for a WR? Everything else looks ok though.

I imagine

Bolen will not rank above our 6th receiver, especially considering that Osgood/Thomas double as special teamers and Owens can be a pinch FB if needed. Also, you could keep Bolen on the PS, but not Troy. I think that means Troy Williamson will probably make it.

I believe

the OP was saying that Brock Bolen would only be in there if Greg Jones can’t make it due to injury. Just like he is saying that only one of Cecil Newton and Brad Meester will make it. That is how I read it anyways.

As a caveat

that makes sense. But in either case, I think we will carry a 6th receiver. And I doubt we’ll carry 4 TE’s though.

Right

As conservative stated neither BoleN or Newton make the team if Jonnes and Meester show that they are better. IMOP Williamson will not make the team this year I beleive it is time to go with the youth on our team. We will only carry 5 wr

Remenber it is not who you are , but what you do that defines you. GO JAGS

I doubt we

will only carry 5. Just look at our recent history. We almost always carry 6. And we usually need all 6 due to injuries.
