In almost every draft site, MJD is number three.  The third best fantasy option in the league.  Yeah, thats imprressive in itself, but I get the feeling that Adrain Peterson might be recieving alot of "name respect."  What I mean by this is that people think of Adrain Peterson and think the greatest running back in foootball besides maybe Chris Johnson.

But is this really deserved?  Yes Adrain Peterson is a heck of a football player, but what about Maurice Jones-Drew?

Does Jones Drew deserve a higher fantasy draft day status than Adrain Peterson?

Here are the numbers from last year:

Average: 4.5

reception yards: 374

FUMBLES: 2

PLAYER B:

carries: 314

Yards: 1383

Average: 4.4

TDs: 18

recpetions: 43

reception yards: 436

FUMBLES: 7

MJD, is player one.   He has a higher yards per carry, higher yards, more receptions, way less fumbles 

Adrian Peterson is number 2.  He has more touchdowns and more yards receiving but more fumbles. 

Give or take, the two are pretty darn even, but Maurice seems to have an edge.
