The Real Reason that Naming Rights worked
The CIty of Jacksonville gave up 4 million to ensure that the naming rights deal went through. Nobody can ever say that the city dosen't take it's role in the Jaguars seriously.
Talk about skin in the game.

Two things.
1.Long time no see
2. I thought I heard that the “Everbank Field” name won’t be used for events like Florida-Georgia and the Gator Bowl, meaning the city could get a slice another way

These deal
shows me that the leadres of this city and the business people realitzed how big is the threat that they lose the Jags. In every point of view(Fame and usiness).
The problem is that some part of the fanbase still not realized this threat. ( I talking about the unsold tickets especially for the second half of the season; where the schedule is everything ; but sexy….)
I have a nightmare scenario folks – what if the Jags start slow and start the season with an 2-4 or worse in the first 6 ( 4 of them at home) games? (Which is a REAL possibilty)
I’m telling you- I think we will see 4 blackouts. And thenm all this great effort we saw until now from Boselli; the Teal Deals; the city; from Everband, and from everybody wiil going to waste….
(By the way; good to see you Chris; I hope you’ll find a little extra time in your busy schedule to hanging around here more!)

This is why I think they need to package
The DEN game ticket with HOU, CLE & OAK. Can’t see Denver unless you’re a season ticket holder, a group ticket holder or buy a 5 pack with a PS game and these other 3 yawners. :-) Why not take advantage of the Tebow fans ?
I would package the Mini PAcks
DEN, TEN, HOU, WASH and PHL, IND, CLV, OAK.
Denver will be more “non-Jags” fans than not buying ticket. Got to try to convert them at potential future ticket buyts. Give them Tebow, Monday Night Football, division rival Texans in a meaningful game and day after Christmas, hoping they stay in town and will attend.
I would package the other with Eagles, Colts and Manning and the two lower home opponents with the Raiders and Browns.
I think the first package is more attractive, but you will definately have people who will want to see Manning and the Eagles.
As for the 5th games, pick or chose the preseaon games. Doesn’t really matter.
