I attended the evening no-pads practice and thought I would give my opinions:

-The Player Roster has all of the ages 4-5yrs older than actual.  I can't believe Meester is 37, no wonder he struggled last year..LOL

-Look out for Jason Harmon.  He showed his great hands on two overthrown balls. He, Sims-Walker, Mike Thomas, and the new pick-up from the Colts, John Matthews, are the only receivers that don't look like they are one hit away from a broken leg (like toothpicks).  I hope he has the quickness to get open, because his size and hands are impressive.  I looked for a BCC UDFA Profile on him, but found none.

-Chad Kackert has great hands to go with his quickness and speed.  He is going to be good, but do we have room at the RB position?  It is amazing what Gene has done with late picks and UDFA's.

-Rashad Jennings is so smooth, fast, big, and has great hands.  I think he is more than a back-up on most NFL teams.

-I saw Larry Hart get into the backfield where Jones-Drew was going to pick him up.  Hart made a juke move that left mojo frozen and feeling like an idiot.  He would have killed the QB.  I think Hart is going to be good.

-Justin Smiley had an 8lb bag of ice strapped to his right shoulder for some time.  I hope that is preventive maintenance.

-I can't figure Trevor Harris.  Sometimes I think his arm looks weak.  Then he will make a nice deep throw with little arc.  Am I misinterpreting 'good touch' on short and intermediate routes as a weak arm?

-David Garrard better start taking some risks.  I am a fan, but if you can't take risks in practice, how are you going to do it in a game?

-Cecil Newton had some ugly snaps out there.  Center is one of those positions I don't usually notice, but he was noticeable in a not so good way.

-Tyron Brackenridge will make this team.  He has a nack for big plays.  If there is a tipped ball anywhere on the field, he will be there to catch it.

- Reggie Nelson is not a happy guy.  When signing autographs at the end, I watched him for minutes and never saw him make eye contact with anyone.  He looked pissed.

I am looking forward to Sunday night's practice!
