I know it is an old subject, but this is the first time I've had the chance to discuss it with other Jags fans. Is there another player that was available that you believe was more talented? Especially after so much emphasis was placed on GM Gene Smith following the BAP (with good character) method when drafting players. Or do you think GM Gene picked the player he wanted knowing he wouldn't have been able to trade back and still get him. We all know it was rumored that a team between #12 and #16, most notably, the Dolphins would've selected him if the Jags didn't. As I have no doubt about the selection, I would like to know what other die hard Jag fans think.
