A couple of things about this article jump out at me:
First, I think it's hilarious that the reporter throws in how the team is really bending over backwards for the fans by having "free training camp practices" and even (gasp!) a free practice in the stadium - "at night". We do all this, AND throw in $2500 in coupons for food and services. Good ones, I have been using mine all over - they're great.
Second, the fan they interview refers to his "seat deposits". We hear all the time from people who won't by season ticket holders because of the price of tickets. Try paying PSLs and Seat Deposits before the actual ticket cost, people. We have just the price of the tickets themselves, and they're some of the cheapest in the NFL!
Third, I found the comments below the story priceless. From the overall sentiment, it eems like the Tampa Bay fans are going to call the Buccaneers bluff, and see if they will really allow the games to be blacked out. Our owner is following that policy in the regular season, but has graciously paid to televise the 2 preseason home games, so fans can see what the building excitement is all about.
Finally, I wondered why I had to go to a Bucs site to garner this information. Where is the national hue and cry over what's about to happen in Tampa Bay? Where is Mike Florio condeming the Buccaneer fans? Where is the article by Michael Silver questioning the honor of the Glazers?
Let's always remember we have a great thing going here. We have ownership that cares about the fans, and we have one of only thirty-two franchises in the world. We have reasonable prices for tickets to the greatest show on Earth. LET'S GO JAGUARS!!!
