Who is likely to run the ball for the Jaguars today?

He’s always open. He catches a lot of balls. He’s un-guardable, no matter how old he is

by WarWolf on Sep 2, 2010 6:52 PM EDT reply actions

Jennings and Bolen

And Kackert

By the way 24 Falcon player and 17 Jaguars player are inactive. The WHOLE FALCONS starters sit out. By the Jaguars most part of the D(Cox will play).
The whole O_line will start: Smiley and Manuwai play at G; Meester will start; but Uche will replace him shortly.

Don't underestimate

Owens at RB. He may be our best RB between the tackles, other than MJD obviously.

I do wanna see a good dose of Chad Kackert, or very little actually. I can’t make up my mind. I doubt he makes the 53 regardless of what he does in this game, so we may want to hide him so that he can pass through waivers for our PS. On the other hand I still wanna see what he has.

by Ewdtrey on Sep 2, 2010 7:17 PM EDT up reply actions

I'm with you

I think I’m leaning towards a good dose of Kackert because I’m really not sure if he has anything. His balance was my favorite thing about him after watching his college highlights and he showed that against Tampa, but I want to see more than just that.

In his defense

He threw a perfect pass to Williamson on the first series that should’ve been a first down. Troy just didn’t pay attention to his feet and get both down. It wasn’t too difficult of a play.

First play: 1 Carry. 1 Yard. Fumble. Returned by MIN for a TD.

DG is the best we have and help is not on the way. I realize he's not perfect, but I feel a lot better about him at QB than I do the O-Line, DB's and LB's ability to cover a TE.

By the way, anyone else notice Zach Miller running back gingerly after the field goal? I’m afraid that’s gonna be his MO for a while. Like Tony said, he’s what is making the Wilford/Potter decision so difficult.

Dillard cut twice and had 5 yards on the guy

announcers (who i think is baldinger) said something like “ah, he’s a little open”

5 yards going left to right, thats wide open. Mccown was chased out and couldnt hit him

I'm disappointed in Williamson and Underwood

Neither made any plays tonight when they needed to make them the most
