Jacksonville Jaguars outside linebacker Justin Durant could miss Sunday's match up with the Philadelphia Eagles. Durant suffered an ankle injury against the San Diego Chargers and was seen with a boot on his left ankle following the game and yesterday at the stadium. Typically when a player has a walking boot less than a week prior to the football game, they don't play.
"It's not going to be long term," coach Jack Del Rio told reporters. "But we'll get a better feel as we get into the week whether or not he'll play this weekend," Del Rio added.
Sunday after the game, Del Rio did raise some concern however that Durant has struggled recovering from injuries in the past.
If Durant cannot go, second year linebacker Russell Allen will get the start.
