Thanks...
I garnered that much from the post. What I meant was why are we wasting time sifting through the Broncos garbage? Seriously, this guy was active for a single game last year. And the Broncos defense isnt so dominating that he was buried beneath All Pros.
He is.
Jamal Williams. Ronald Fields is also a stud.

Marcus Thomas is also pretty good when he rotates in from DE.

Josina Anderson reported all kinds of crazy things about Reggie Nelson and Brady Quinn back in May
And nothing happened. So forgive me if I’m skeptical.

Why am I not surprised nothing has happened about Chris Baker
I think Josina Anderson just makes crap up.

al afalava got cut by the bears
Last year’s 6th round pick started 13 games for the Bears as a rookie, recording 53 tackles, 2 sacks and 7 passes defended.
could you imagine Harry Caray trying to pronounce his name?

I see Jarrad Page signed his tender with the Chiefs, i think he was the best Safety prospect that could be available, though he’s not great.

Baker played well last preseason, but went down in training camp with "flu-like symptoms", and didn't get his strength back late in camp.
The Broncos didn’t really intend to play him at all last year; they were content to let him sit and learn, in the hopes that he could eventually fulfill the potential he very clearly has. Unfortunately, he needed to kill it in the final preseason game to make a dent in a deep D-line (3 NTs ahead of him), and didn’t.
Cutting him is partly a numbers move, and partly his inability to stand out against 3rd stringers.

I know a lil about Baker.
I did a lot of “homework” on him during last years draft.I actually mocked him to us in the 3rd round last year because we needed a DT.Little did I know Gene had another DT in mind when we were on the clock in the third. We all know who he is.Much like Knighton Baker was a small school guy from Hampton. He originally went to Penn State. He was very productive, and excelled in getting in the backfield in college.A bunch of analyst had him going in the 3rd as I did,but he went undrafted. So when the Jags didn’t draft him and passed on him in the later rounds it puzzled me.Come to find out Baker got in trouble in his past causing him to lose his scholarship to Penn.Which is probably we didn’t draft him.I had later posted on a forum that he was the best undrafted player available and thought the Jags would bring him on as a udfa.Imo it would have been a steal. If he is anything like Knighton I think this would be a great move to bring him in.He has been staying out of trouble so far by the way.

He's a good kid, but was screwed by Penn State.
Doc Bear at MHR wrote a great article about him here:
