In a surprise after trading Reggie Nelson, the Jacksonville Jaguars have released safety Gerald Alexander.

I really hope so
If they don’t have a plan of some kind, it would seem to me they just got weaker at the position.

It’s like operating on a tumor is technically gutting your body…but it’s really a good thing.

I've been saying
why. Gerald is supposed to be the smart guy, but Considine has been in position more often and missed fewer tackles. And Considine plays on special teams.
And not long ago many thought he was the only safe starter at safety (that includes me). That should tell something about how bad we are at this position.

He and Nelson was the only players who started in the pregames at FS.
Who is the the starting FS now? Greene? I don’t think so. ANd I don’t think T-brack is a starter either…

He was a 1st round prospect before he wrecked his ACL at UF.
