PrintBig Cat Country has learned the Jaguars have released guard Kynan Forney.
This should guarantee Vince Manuwai and Justin Smiley a roster spot.

Nope
but maybe Smiley will show he can stay healthy. I’m assuming this mean Uche will play left with Manuwai at RG, while Smiley gets healthier. This does offer the greater upside. But it cost more money. Maybe Manuwai took a pay cut.

Especially now that my cable company is carrying NFL Network. I may not get to see them live, but I’ll actually get to watch every Jags game this year.
It’s just hard to see some of the border liners go.
I can honestly say a couple of cuts have me shocked (Gerald Alexander plus trading Reggie). I’m anxiously awaiting Mr. Smith’s next move.

I don’t know if they’ll bust out a trade (saving those picks for the 2011 QB Draft Derby), but they’ve got to have something planned.

at first I thought we raped the lions too
but now I consider it as a wash not a steal. It was a great attempt by Gene to trade a young safety for an aging vet and try to make something out of nothing . If he helped us win games last year why would they turn there back on him this year? Shouldn’t he have progressed?
