Optimistic
I’m hoping the “limited” part for Deji means limited to returning kicks. As long as he can return, keep him out of the offensive sets…I’ll be good with that.
I am dreaming about an Opening Day, opening kickoff return for a TD. EverBank Field will go BERZERK!!!
Well, that blows
Mike Thomas is still a decent returner though, so it’s not the end of the world.
But, good news that Karim is practising already. He should be back fairly soon.
Thomas is starting, that means no way is he KR………only like three times in the past two years has a offensive starter returned kicks

Did not MJD do it last year.....
or was that punts? I do not like starters doing either. There are too many big hits. I also remember that teams like to play games with this, and almost have to put someone on these lists. It would not surprise me if both played, and why is there no game status? Is that not required until later in the week?
Not sure if this is true or not, but...
I just checked Pro Football Reference, he returned both kick offs (4) and punts (2) last year
that seems like a load of bull, but it might be from the one colts game where they really needed a good return………or if MT or BW had a super awful fumble say, its possible

It stuck in my mind....
because it made my wife and I cringe every time we saw it. I did not care how many yards he got on a return, the downside of injury seemed huge! I still think both Deji and Scotty will be game ready on Sunday!
I think this means they are prepping to have somebody like Underwood at PR and probably Jennings at KR if Karim and McGee can’t go or maybe Montell Owens at KR?

actually i thnik MT will run back punts, and sit put JD as the #2 for a play or 2 and let him catch his breath then he goes back #2

see i was just thinking that, but I believe they won’t do that with MT unless it is super necessary. However i think unless something gravely wrong occurs we will not see MJD on ST this year, especially with McGee-Karim teaming up for duties (we havent had duel major returners since NorthcuttMJD of 07 or WimbushMJD of 2006)
