It's been boring here, as of late. So I've been doing some posts, here's a small one.
Jags first 4 rounds, this is unique, and you probably won't see it play out this way, in other mocks.
Round 1: Gabe Carimi OT
Round 2: Casey Matthews LB
Round 3: Andy Dalton QB
Round 4: Chykie Brown CB
Round 4: John Moffitt G/C
Gabe Carimi - Big Right Tackle, amazing run-blocker, and got a lot better pass-blocker this year, big guy 6' 7", 325 lbs. Eben can slide over to RG, and Uche can go through the off-season, and OTAs, and training camp, learning how to be an effective Center, Brad retires, or stays one more year.
Casey Matthews - He looks just like Clay, but Casey he is more effective in the 4-3, he is not only a great run-stuffer, he's great at getting after the QB, and this last season, he's been dropping back into coverage a lot, and he's been doing it very well.
Andy Dalton - We have to get a franchise QB, somewhere in this draft, and according to Vic, this is Gene's guy...I like him, too...a year or two sitting, and he can be a great franchise qb.
Chykie Brown - I'm expecting Gene to bring a decent-good Free-agent...and this guy will be our nickel-back, and developing guy...he'll develop into a great corner, and start across from Cox in 2-3 years. He's pretty good as it, just needs to improve some coverage skill.
John Moffitt - Another developing guy, he's big, and can play anywhere inside...he's played well next to Carimi in Wisconsin, and Carimi and Moffitt, would both benefit from being on the same team together...what I would like is Uche go to center, Eben goes to LG, give vinny a year or two, then when he retires, moffitt steps in and goes to RG, and Eben goes to LG. Moffitt needs to be developed of course, because he's slow off the snap, and has other things to work on.
What do you think?
