This is how I would like to see the cba hammered out. 18 game regular season with 2 pre season games. Rosters start at 80 for the 2 preseason games then get cut to 65 till game 4 of the regular season. Then they get cut to 60. Practice squads are 10 strong. Players can be placed on injured reserve and taken off twice during the season. Any player on the IR after the 10 th game of the season is there for the entire season. Salary cap for rookies, all rookies have a 4 year deal with a option for a fifth. Both teams and the players union will put money in to a medical fund to help all retired players with medical issues. Players get 52% owners get 43% , with the other 5% going into the medical fund. Players will be put on the competition committee. This is how I would like to see it at this time any suggestions
