Vic Ketchman Leaving
No more "Ask Vic" or gameday blogs for the Jaguars
It gives me no pleasure to post this! Our very own Vic Ketchman is leaving the Jaguars and going to the Green Bay Packers to cover their team. I feel like a divorce has just been laid at my feet and this is life changing for me as I'm a big "Ask Vic" reader. We'll miss you, Vic! Good luck and god bless you and your family. You've been the best thing about Jaguars football and I'll always be your biggest fan. Good luck, old friend!

What the fuck?
Pardon the language, but where does this come from? This was very random, and I enjoyed reading his articles, his in-game blogs, and his Ask Vic.
No pardons

I honestly have no idea!
I wonder if the packers didn’t offer a ton of money so Vic could retire comfortably! I think it has a lot to do with that. I understand, but to be honest, Wayne is losing a huge comodity by letting Vic go. Not the best decision, Mr. Weaver!
He just announced it
On Jaguars This Week. Good for him. Bad for us.
He was always kind of boring too
Too many useless stats and not enough sarcastic humor.
Yeah sure, but it will never ever be the same again! I guess it's time for us all to move on.
I will miss Vic and his commentary! He has meant a lot to me over the years! Wouldn’t be the fan I am of the Jags if it wasn’t for him.
That’s pretty ridiculous.
For me, it is far better to grasp the Universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring.

Say what you want, but if it wasn’t for Vic, I wouldn’t be the fan that I am today. He helped me see, not only this team, but the game of football for what it is. A large part of the reason I visited jaguars.com so frequently was to read ‘Ask Vic’ and now that it will be gone, there will be almost no reason to visit the site. OTAs and training camp will no longer be the same. He was a large part of the entertainment value of the Jaguars. Not that I’m going to less enjoy watching them play on Sundays, but all of the in between stuff will be sorely missed. No more draft board, power rankings or this week’s 10 things. Simply put, Vic helped me make the transition from loving this team to being ‘in’ love with this team and the game of football.
You should never deal with absolutes

Well put man.
Coach Crennel, if all of your Coors Lights can talk what happens when you open your fridge? There's generally "Hoopla" involved.
Absolutely... I'm just in shock
I have learned so much through Ask Vic. I can’t believe he’s leaving… I don’t know if there will even be a reason to visit the site much more than weekly now.
I'm gunna do an ASK RHETT
every after noon here at BCC what ya guys think….I was borhn in 1995, so lets keep the football insights between week 17, and the AFC wild card of this year please….lol(just kidding)
I'm feeling shell shocked right now.
I don’t know what the fuck is going on. This is just coming out of nowhere. Why would he leave us high and dry? And I can’t believe jaguars.com hasn’t posted anything about it yet. Worst day for the Jaguars in a long, long time.
Maybe Brian Sexton now will have to step it up and
recall more stories about Stacey Mack converting 3rd and 1 plays during the 2003 season.
Bad drafting by the Jags...
Today, the Jags did not take the BAW (best available writer). Pretty big loss by the home team…I mean our website’s now just gonna be A site instead of THE site :-( That’s the ugly truth…The man made Jaguars.com and we’re gonna let him retire with another team?! 16 years and out?! That’s not FULL CONSISTENCY!!! LOL
