Obviously Alfie runs this board, and there are numerous contributors, but the fact is that SB Nation is for all of YOU.  No discussion would take place without all of you, and you have to ability to make this board be whatever you want it to be. 

The reason for this post is that I post on several other SB Nation sites, and every other one makes far greater use of the "rec" function.  If you like someone's post, don't just put a "+1" under it...rec it!  Just click "actions" and "rec".  Get enough recs and the post will turn green.  It makes it clear to anyone skimming the thread which points people agree with the most, and honestly if your post turns green it just flat-out feels good.  I have seen very few posts turn green in my time here at BCC; in contrast, there is a thread on Sactown Royalty in which every post is green!

You can also rec people's FanPosts; if you like their post a lot, rec it!  The most recommended FanPosts will stay in the "Recommended FanPosts" section so they're easy to keep posting in.

The flip side of recs is the flag system.  I don't know if people on here use the flag system to its full advantage, but the gist of it is...if someone posts something that offends you personally, flag it!  Make sure to only use flags if you are OFFENDED, not if you just don't agree with their point.
