Fun with Attendance Figures - 2010 Season

So here we go.. the final numbers as reported by ESPN. Whom I assume got them from the NFL..

I included market size for comparison and sorted according to % of stadium filled on average.

Now if you go by total attendance the Jaguars don't look bad either.. especially compared to the Raiders and Buccaneers to name a few.

Last but not least.. compare the above to market size.. the interesting thing that crops up is the team with the largest market size to themselves (Since technically the NYC market is bigger, but split in half for statistical purposes) is Chicago. Chicago also has the smallest stadium in the league.

Hopefully this will stop ESPN / NFL Network writers and others from commenting on how "bad" Jacksonville supports the Jaguars and comments about the fact we covered some of our seats (And BTW even then EverBank field holds more than 10 other stadiums in the league do.. like Chicago, Arizona, Tampa and Oakland for instance ).

I would love to compare the above to the number of blackouts each team had.. (Since Jacksonville had 0 this year) but could not find that info online.

Till next season..
