IDEA: I tried to do a mock draft with options but I confused myself then I made this chart to clarify things and thought I'd share it. I hope for each box at least one of the players should be available at that spot.

I used rough consensus rankings and profiles from Optimum Scouting, Drafttek, Draftblitz, DraftGuys and FFToolbox.  I identified our needs as DB,LB,  DE, QB,C/G, WR, in that order. I've been scouting Bowl Games and left out some players I didn't like and picked some I did and the rest on rough consensus rankings and from profiles.

It's like a depth chart in that the top player is my preferred pick but go to backup if he's not there. After the third round there is a pool of players to make four picks from. They are players I like the sound of or in positions of need. They are listed by their rough positional rankings and availability not personal preference. If you follow a tree, say DE down the needs still left are listed below.

METHOD: So pick a first rounder, then a second, then a third then any four players from the whole bottom boxes and presto a draft nothing like what Gene will come up with!
