Per Twitter, Jacob Cutrera signed by the Buccaneers
After spending the first five weeks of 2011 on the practice squad, it appears as though linebacker Jacob Cutrera is en route to Tampa Bay. TE Zach Miller and LB Kyle Bosworth both congratulated Cutrera on Twitter for being signed by the Buccaneers.
The signing means that Cutrera will go the Tampa Bay active roster and leaves an open spot on the Jaguars practice squad. Cutrera played in eight games for the Jaguars last year and accumulated four tackles, making the majority of his impact on special teams.
