Monroe's, Jerome Brown's
The best BBQ I’ve had in Jacksonville by far is Monroe’s on Highway Ave. Jenkins use to be the best but they’ve fallen off.
Jerome Brown’s on Edegewood is the best Quick BBQ joint
Jenkins sux...
There is an old place on south Phillips Hwy thats been there 20+ years that is great… I can’t remeber the name because I only went there twice and it was 2 yrs ago…..
"POUND THE ROCK MOJO!!!"
KC as in Kansas City? You might be dissapointed with our BBQ...I heard KC has some of the best..
"POUND THE ROCK MOJO!!!"
It is
good but I can’t go get any because my stepdad doesn’t. I have had BBQ 3 times in the 15 years of living here. I actually think Jacksonville has some of the most underrated BBQ in the country.

"Hi may I help you?"
The best BBQ I ever had in my life was within sight of Arrowhead.
Mmmm Burnt Ends, and melt in your mouth brisket. (Gates BBQ)
My wife said that Arthur Bryants is also incredible.
Most of it here is overrated!
The new Mojo’s in Riverside and the one at the end of University and San Jose are decent. (For Beef brisket)
I went to all the named places for over a decade and realize I do pulled and ribs better at home myself.
