Each team found some semblance of an offensive rhythm in the third quarter, but neither found the end zone. The Ravens earnedd their first first down of the game when the Jaguars weren't set on a third down and got another when a neutral zone infraction was called on Matt Roth. A third first down came on a Boldin slant across the middle.

However, the defense made a strong play after Dwight Lowery sacked Joe Flacco on a third down, forcing a 52 yard field goal from Billy Cundiff that was wide right.

The Jaguars offense started the second half with an eight and a half minute drive, but dropped passes by both Greg Jones and Marcedes Lewis in the end zone forced a third Josh Scobee field goal. Needless to say, Scobee remained perfect on the season.

One more quarter of strong defense and the Jaguars will escape with a huge, upset victory.
