Now when i wrote that the jags defense saved the day i mentioned that they probably saved Head Coach Jack Del Rio from getting fired during the upcoming bye week. But is that really going to save him? Yes he didn't set a new franchise worst with a 1-6 start to the season, and he did coach the upset against the Ravens, but the offense looked better but still not great. Really if you look at it the Jags should be 6-1 with one of the best records in the league and leading the division. Regardless we are not and a lot of that has to do with us trying to play overly conservative at the end of the game, change those games and we are still 5-2 top of the division. The bye is 2 weeks away and the question I am starting to wonder is if this win against Baltimore is going to keep del rio safe, especially if we lose to Huston (knock on wood). in my personal opinion I wouldn't mind if Del Rio was and we put Mel Tucker as interim head coach but we will have to wait and see.
