Jaguars should take WR in the 1st Round in the 2012 Draft

Stay connected for news and updates

I've been reading a lot of comments about how the Jags should get a WR in the later rounds of the draft. But then again go back and read all the fans (bitching and complaing) about the team not having a playmaker and how bad the Jags current WR group suck.

News Flash: Get your head out of your #$@ and wake up dudes!  I'm going to give you the reason why the Jags should pick a WR withthe 1st Round pick.  It is very possible that the Jags will be picking in the top 10 next season so with further ado lets jump into the reason why:

A.J Green Pick #4; 40 Rec, 599 Yrds, Avg. 15.0, 5 Tds.

Julio Jones Pick #6; 28 Rec, 489 Yrds, Avg. 17.5, 2 Tds

These two guys are tearing the league up right now.  Atlanta threw the kitchen sink to get Julio and the Bengals waisted no time replacing Ochocinco.  The Jaguars can't afford to get cute with there picks andthink that they will find guys in the 2nd and 3rd or even 4th round that has the same talent as Blackmond and Jeffery.  Depending on St. Louis we will get one of the two.

If the Jaguars truly believe that Gabbert is their guy they will fix the Oline and WR group in the off season.  Keeping the defense together and playing at a high level will force the Offense to pick there game up rather quickly.  But first thing is first, resigning our own guys first. A lot of players are on the last year of there current deals, so a lot of the money this off season will go in house.

Let me know what you guys assessment is on the Jags drafting a WR withthere 1st round pick.
