Who in the world would there be to receive for him? We have nobody. He would be running all day as the OL would allow the D to flush him out of the pocket. He is only able to show what he has in Carolina becuase he is allowed to sit in the pocket and throw to Steve Smith and a bunch of no name receivers who look great compared to our own.

As a Jag, he would not have the break out rookie season he is having. I bring this up in defense of Gabbert. You cannot accurately judge any QB if they played in our system ebcuase there is nothing there besides MJD. We won't know what this kid has for a long time becuase it will take awhile to build the O through free agency and the draft. This is going to be a long ride and those expecting a breakout second half of the season will be sorely disappointed.
