Jaguars Fantasy Sleeper: Jaguars Defense
The Jacksonville Jaguars don't have much in regards to fantasy football sleepers. Typically the only fantasy mainstay for the Jaguars is running back Maurice Jones-Drew. There is another fantasy play that has become a very good one as of late, and that's the Jaguars defensive unit. Last week against the Colts, the Jaguars defense forced three turnovers and sacked the quarterback five times.
Now, that's not to say this week against the Cleveland Browns it will be a repeat performance, but they're once again taking on a struggling offense that will likely be playing very one-dimensional. The Browns could be without their top two running backs, Peyton Hillis is out for sure, and have been passing the ball a lot the past few weeks. The Jaguars did lose Rashean Mathis for the season, but against the Browns wide receivers William Middleton should just do fine. If you're in need of a defense this week, the Jaguars defense should do just fine.

To Jaguars fans...
the Defense isn’t a sleeper, we know they are good.

being a good D doesn’t necessarily make you a good fantasy D though.
But last week we were.
A good fantasy defense needs to get a high number of sacks, takeaways, and TDs (from punts or takeaways). Holding a team to 0 points usually just gets you 10 fantasy points which is average.

Jags D has faced some tough opponents all year
but they should be a solid fantasy play for the rest of the season, even against Houston at home Thanksgiving weekend
