What if Jack Del Rio got his head out of his arse and knew how to manage the clock at the end of the game
we easily could of had a few more victories this year…
Lots and lots of what ifs here
just watched the highlights on nfl.com. Blaine had a lane to run on that last play. Rookie jitters, I guess. AAAAARRRRRGGGGHHHHH!!!
I saw that too. He could have jogged in to the endzone.
And the Jason Hill catch, he needed to catch that with one hand since the other was being held down by the defender. Great job refs.
Rookie QB and lame duck coach
Need a fresh start next year.
Take stock in your lives, but leave your livestock alone
Great attitude.
Losing is frustrating, especially the fashion in which we always seem to lose.
But I’d much rather focus on the positives. This is a team that is definitely on the rise and I am excited to see the growth.
Also, If we beat the Texans next week, all is forgiven. I can not stand them.
I agree......
Key point….it is football….enjoy it for what it is. This team is getting better and I Think we can have a good run!
optimism is good
but this team is not more competitive whatever way you wanna look at it last year we were one win away from making the playoffs and the last couple games we lost mojo then david. we woulda been in the playoffs if they were both healthy and there is no way we are gonna make the playoffs this year
Cold Blooded
Elite?
I don’t think this team is on the edge of being elite with a good draft but I do think if the right coaching staff is brought in and we give Blaine some weapons, add a little more to the defense, we very well could be a playoff contender next year. All depends really who is brought in. If we stick with Del Rio and wait until the 4th round to pick a WR then we are setting ourselves up for another season that is over before Thanksgiving. If we add a legitimate head coach and offensive coordinator, go out in free agency and add a key wide receiver, go into the draft and upgrade in several spots, then we do have a chance in the future. With how bad this team has become since 2008 it’s really hard to envision us as winners, but we can all hope.
All we should be looking for is us competing for the playoffs next year.
This year has sucked for many reasons.
15 players on IR. Most in the league. Yeah, Gene is storing some but still. We lost our starting RT, CB, and Jennings. We lost our starting QB because of injury and crappy preseason play. We are playing one of the more talented rookie QBs but most likely was the least NFL ready. Most commentators made that point before the draft. We have a rookie LG instead of a beast in Manuawi. WRs digressed over the offseason and outside of Rice, limited FA opportunities this past offseason. So, our offense has been a piece of manure to watch.
Defense should be the thing that every-one should be raving about but we can’t at 3-7. We went from basically dead last to in the top 5. That is crazy. We are young and still developing. We have jars on the shelf. This roster is much healthier then when Shack got canned in 08.
I am still heavily optimistic that the Jags are a team on the rise and will be competitive for the next decade. GO JAGS!!!
the defense is amazing
it really is but we spent 100 mil. i mean if our defense wasnt great it would be ridiculous
100 mil on offense could get us calvin johnson and steve smith(carolina) just to put into perspective on how much wayne weaver spent on defense last year so i think the D is a good spot to look at when we are sad after we lose but i think the huge jump shouldnt have been unexpected

In Gene we trust
Think about how sick and tired those Denver fans must be when ever they turn on their television sets the national pundit can’t go ten minutes on any pro football show with out mentioning their sorry quarterback. National radio and even high traffic non sports websites talk about him. What team needs or wants that kind of attention?
